Marks for contact details, task lists, file references, calendars and workplace notes.
The mixed office set is organized around communication, documents, scheduling, attachments and workplace objects. In navigation and forms, retain a visible action label beside the pictogram. That amounts to 50 copyable values here — 47 of them one character long, 3 longer.
Names such as Envelope, Black Telephone, Round Pushpin, Briefcase appear here, and counting every entry puts Variation Selector-16 (3), Envelope (1), Lower Right Pencil (1) at the top. Single-character values span U+00A7 to U+1F5A8.

There are 50 office symbols here. All of them copy in one click. Most of them, 31 in all, are other related forms. They come mostly from one part of Unicode: Dingbats. 28 are plain text. The other 22 are emoji, so your phone or computer draws them in colour.
They split into mail and communication, documents and writing and scheduling and data. Other related forms leads with 31.
They come from Dingbats (15), Letterlike Symbols (10) and Miscellaneous Symbols (9). They span U+00A7 to U+1F5A8, so no one font covers them all.
Black Telephone and Black Right Pointing Index look alike. They are not the same character.
3 use more than one character. Copy the whole thing or it breaks.
The vocabulary below comes from the formal names and groupings of these office symbols.
| Type | Examples | Good for | Watch for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mail and communication | ✉ ☎ ℡ | Technical reports and measurements | Using an envelope without clarifying whether it means email or message |
| Documents and writing | ✎ ✐ 🖇 | Office labels and contact details | Replacing a form label with an unfamiliar object |
| Scheduling and data | 📅 📊 | Legal, medical and professional notes | Expecting emoji office objects to align like monochrome text symbols |

Every figure below is counted from the 50 entries stored for this page rather than estimated. The characters are drawn from Dingbats (15), Letterlike Symbols (10) and Miscellaneous Symbols (9).
| Group | Entries | Examples | Code points | Usual presentation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mail and communication | 5 | ✉ ☎ ℡ | U+2121–U+2709 | Text presentation |
| Documents and writing | 6 | ✎ ✐ 🖇 | U+270E–U+1F587 | Emoji presentation |
| Scheduling and data | 2 | 📅 📊 | U+1F4C5–U+1F4CA | Emoji presentation |
| Tools and attachments | 6 | ✂ ⌨ 🖨 | U+2328–U+1F5A8 | Emoji presentation |
| Other related forms | 31 | 📌 📍 💼 | U+00A9–U+1F4CD | Emoji presentation |
Practical note: Presentation is the typical default. A variation selector, a specific font stack, or an application that overrides emoji rendering can change what you see after pasting.

Tip: Keep the plain words next to the symbol. Text is what makes a design searchable and readable to someone using a screen reader.

Copying stores text, so the value survives the clipboard intact. Paste it with Ctrl V, ⌘ V or your device's Paste command.
Start with Envelope. It works nearly everywhere.
Other related forms suits office labels and contact details. Pick one whose stroke weight matches the text around it.
When creating legal, medical and professional notes, paste the complete entry — several of these are multi-code-point sequences that break if truncated.

Copying is quicker, but these are typeable too. On Windows the alt code is the character's decimal code point; in Word the hexadecimal followed by Alt X does the same job without a keypad.
| Character | Name | Windows | Hex | HTML |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ✉ | Envelope | Alt 9993 | 2709 | ✉ |
| ☎ | Black Telephone | Alt 9742 | 260E | ☎ |
| 📍 | Round Pushpin | Not available | 1F4CD | 📍 |
| 💼 | Briefcase | Not available | 1F4BC | 💼 |
| ℠ | Service Mark | Alt 8480 | 2120 | ℠ |
| № | Numero Sign | Alt 8470 | 2116 | № |
Alt codes reach only the first 65,536 code points, and only from a numeric keypad. 9 entries here sit above that ceiling. A further 3 are sequences, which no shortcut reproduces — copy those instead. The complete keyboard guide covers every platform method in full.

Unicode keeps 44% of these in Dingbats. The rest come from Letterlike Symbols and Miscellaneous Symbols. 28 act like letters.
They take the colour of the text around them. The other 22 are emoji, so the system picks their colour, not you. Unicode files the emoji ones under Objects and People & Body.
3 entries are made of several parts. Copy the whole thing, or it breaks apart. Some are as recent as Emoji 0.7, so old devices may draw an empty box.
A pasted entry is redrawn by the receiving application's font. Expect small differences in width and weight across devices, and larger ones where a font lacks the character entirely.

Using an envelope without clarifying whether it means email or message.
Replacing a form label with an unfamiliar object.
Expecting emoji office objects to align like monochrome text symbols.
08
U+260E is Black Telephone; U+261B is Black Right Pointing Index. Because the encoded identity differs, substituting one for the other can change what a reader or a piece of software understands.
Write ✉ (hex) or ✉ (decimal) to get ✉. Numeric references sidestep encoding problems in older toolchains.
Look for the 28 non-emoji entries. Those behave like letters — style them, colour them, put them in a heading. The 22 emoji entries are drawn by the operating system instead.
3 entries here are sequences of more than one code point. If the destination does not support the sequence, or if the copy was truncated, the parts render individually. Copy the entry with the button rather than by selecting the characters.
Dingbats holds most of them — 15 characters; the rest come from Letterlike Symbols and Miscellaneous Symbols. Coverage tends to follow the block: long-established ones render nearly everywhere, recent additions do not.
The newest entry on this page was introduced in Emoji 0.7. Devices that have not received a font update since then will show a blank rectangle instead. Test on a real older device before using a recent character where the meaning matters.
