The short version

01

Paste the mark

Send the exact mark so we can check it.

02

Tell us where

Name the app, phone, or font where it looks wrong.

03

Keep secrets out

Never send a password, private code, or secret file.

01

Corrections and missing symbols

Found a missing character, a wrong description or a sequence worth adding? Email [email protected].

Include the page URL, the symbol pasted as plain text, and what you expected. A screenshot helps with a rendering problem.

The pasted text matters more, because identical-looking characters can have different code points. We especially want to hear from assistive-technology users and people fluent in the writing systems involved.

02

Compatibility reports

If a symbol shows as a box, changes colour or splits apart, tell us where. Include the operating system, the browser or app, the device type and the font if you know it.

Say whether it breaks before or after saving. Please do not send passwords, private documents or recovery codes.

A small sample containing only the affected characters is the safest and clearest thing to send.

03

Editorial and partnership enquiries

For partnerships, data questions or licensing, tell us your organisation, the intended use, what you need and your timeline. We do not sell placements in reference pages.

We do not guarantee links, or accept requests that would hide an editorial conflict. Unicode characters themselves are standard text and belong to nobody.

Questions about reusing our descriptions, arrangement or artwork should name the exact material.

04

What to expect

We read every message for real corrections and genuine business enquiries. We cannot promise a reply or a publication date.

We cannot provide emergency support, recover someone else's account, interpret a tattoo, or certify a symbol for legal, medical or safety use. For a general Unicode question, check the FAQ first and link the closest answer.

That tells us what is still unclear.
