Using the service

You may browse the site and copy characters for lawful personal or commercial use. It is on you to check that a character suits the destination, the audience and the jurisdiction.

Do not try to disrupt the service or bypass security. Do not misrepresent a connection to CoolSymbol.now.

Do not use automated access at a rate that harms other visitors. We may limit access when that is needed to protect the site or its users.

Characters, fonts and editorial content

Unicode characters are standard text values. Nobody owns them, including us.

A specific font file, emoji drawing, icon set or trademark can carry separate rights. Our explanations, selection, arrangement, design and artwork are our own work.

You may link to pages and quote short portions with attribution. You may not republish the site wholesale, or present our curation and descriptions as your own service.

Accuracy and appropriate reliance

We work to keep names, meanings, sequences and compatibility notes accurate. Standards, fonts and platforms all change.

A character can look different without becoming a different character. An app may reject or alter text you paste.

Treat this content as general information, not as legal, medical, financial, linguistic or accessibility certification. Verify high-stakes text with a qualified person, and test the final file and device.

Availability and external services

The service is provided as available. It may change, pause or stop.

We cannot guarantee that every character will render the same everywhere. We cannot guarantee that an outside platform will accept it, or that every link stays live.

Links to standards bodies and other sites are offered for reference. Those services control their own content, availability, privacy and terms.

Using this site creates no professional or agency relationship.

Changes and contact

We may revise these terms when features, laws or working practices change. The current date appears at the top of the page.

Continuing to use the site after an update means the revised terms apply. If one provision cannot be enforced, the rest still stand.
